This is the body I am striving for… Game of Thrones sexy… lol

Okay, so I’ve read the first 4 books of the Sookie Stackhouse series and well, I’m a little confused where Alan Ball is taking this season. Yes, I love the show and I loved the episode because he was able to take us into the future where the series before seems to be roughly day to day.
I’m just confused, like I said before. Ball doesn’t follow the books storyline closely at all, which makes this show even better, but he does keep elements of it that are consistent with the stories of each character (that are still alive by book 4. Lafayette is one I never know what’s gonna happen, I just hope he stays alive).
Anyhow, this is what I have noticed:
- Tommy has now become old school Hoyt
- Jason is old, good cop Andy
- Bill is old, conceited, powerful Eric
hmmmmmmm…..
Tara becoming a lesbian cage fighter kind of threw me off. There was no indication that I remember of her being interested or aroused on the sly by women and she can’t say it’s because men are dogs because it was all things supernatural that messed her up. That would be women AND men. It almost seemed like a cop out for her character. Now, the cage fighting I believe because she is a tough cookie and needs to vent. I really hope they recap on how she fell in love with a woman, but honestly, I love this new Tara without those damn braids!!!! (Anyone else feel me).
Oh, and did anyone else catch Fiona Shaw from Harry Potter movies? She is Harry’s Aunt Petunia who hates witches, but now she plays Marnie, the head witch in charge. Haha The irony there is kinda awesome, if it’s on purpose or not.
All in all, it was good. Since Sookie is using her power more, I’d like to see what else Alan Ball thinks faeries should do and how powerful they are. Also, if he’ll give Jason any powers or leave him to ….. like the books. No matter what, still one of the best shows on TV!
